TikTok has moved to take down a substantial volume of videos uploaded by Sri Lankan users. According to its latest report, 430,357 videos originating from the country were removed between April and June, during the second quarter of 2026, over Community Guidelines violations.

However, it is reported that nearly 13,000 Sri Lankan videos were reinstated following re-examination.
